We ask that all new patients arrive 30 minutes early to our office so that all of your medical records and paper work are assembled properly. A new patient appointment consultation typically lasts approximately 1 hour but can differ from patient to patient. A clinician will take your vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.) and medical history and you may be required to provide a urine sample. The doctor will perform a physical examination and discuss your medical history with you to determine the best treatment plan.
Unfortunately, we cannot perform procedures on the same days as clinic visits. However, we reserve procedure appointments in our schedule for new patients. So you should be able to schedule a procedure within one week of your first visit.
Procedures are performed in our Trinity and Bessemer offices. We also perform procedures when needed at Trinity Hospital and Medical West Hospital.
Our physicians do a comprehensive review of each patient’s medical history before the new patient visit. Decisions regarding medication changes and starting new medications are made on a case by case basis and are solely up to the physician.
