Important Information

Cannabis is one tool in comprehensive pain care. We evaluate whether it's appropriate for your specific situation as part of a broader treatment plan — not as a standalone solution.

Initial max dosage: Up to 50 mg THC per day. After 90 days, up to 75 mg if needed.

Approved forms: Tablets, capsules, tinctures, inhalers, topicals, patches, and more. Smoking and raw plant are not permitted under Alabama law.

Follow-up required: 30-day check-in after first use, then every 90 days. Annual renewal.

Cost: $150 certification (self-pay). Cannabis products are not covered by insurance.
