No. Simply call our office at (205) 332-3160 and we will assist you in scheduling your new patient appointment.
All new patients should arrive 30 minutes early to our office so that all of your medical records and paper work are assembled properly. A new patient appointment consultation typically lasts 1 hour but can differ from patient to patient. A clinician will take your vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.) and medical history and you may be required to provide a urine sample. The doctor will perform a physical examination and discuss your medical history with you to determine the best treatment plan.
Unfortunately, we cannot perform procedures on the same days as clinic visits. However, we reserve procedure appointments in our schedule for new patients. So you should be able to schedule a procedure within one week of your first visit.
Plan ahead for your procedure! We perform procedures in both our Vestavia and Bessemer offices.
Our physicians do a comprehensive review of each patient’s medical history before the new patient visit. Decisions regarding medication changes and starting new medications are made on a case by case basis and are solely up to the physician.
